About
Shaping culinary excellence
Culinary Arts Academy was founded in September 2012 by the late businessman Tranos Mugova Moyo, on a simple conviction: that Zimbabwe's kitchens deserve training built on practice rather than theory alone.
Since then the academy has produced more than 2,000 graduates, working in culinary and hospitality roles at home and internationally — in hotels, restaurants, lodges, catering operations and businesses of their own.
Our programmes stay deliberately close to the industry they feed. Curricula are built around the competencies employers actually audit for, taught by faculty who have run professional kitchens, in facilities that look like the ones our graduates will walk into.
